On behalf of the organization team, we are inviting you to participate
in the 4th Computer Science Conference (CSC).

***** Check the Internet Link for the schedules ****

Conference Description
-----------------------------

Our goal is to mark the CSC as a productive occasion where fellow CS students have the platform to exchange ideas by sharing their work and by receiving constructive feedback. This annual event has been a successful opportunity for graduate students and aspiring researchers to relate and share research interests and similarities, to identify new opportunities, and to discuss career objectives with peers and experts. This event has been effective in preparing our graduate students to compete for national and provincial scholarships, and to improve writing, presenting and collaborating skills.

All graduate students are encouraged to submit a paper for presentation.

Consulting with their respective supervisors and the chair of the PhD program Dr. Richard Frost, our PhD students can take this opportunity to fulfill one of their PhD seminar requirements by conducting a presentation.

Master’s students are especially encouraged to participate, and their presentations will be counted as equivalent to attendance of six of the seminars (maximum).

There are a few time-slots reserved for our undergraduate students as well, in order to encourage them to be in touch with our School’s ongoing research.

Overall, by actively participating and presenting, our CS students at all levels will help to grow a collaborative community of scholars.

Scope
--------

You can participate by submitting an extended abstract of your ongoing project or research work. The extended abstract should be no more than four pages and should be written following the IEEE template for conference proceedings (available at:
http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenceTemplates.html). It is not expected that extended abstracts will consist of final work with complete results; instead, more weight will be placed on significance of the work and proposed ideas. Abstracts that discuss “work in progress” with clear future directions are also welcome.

You can also submit your already-published/accepted scholarly paper. The published or in-press paper should have been written following any standard publication format.

Your final submission should be in pdf format.

All extended abstracts will undergo a reviewing process. Students of accepted abstracts and published papers will be invited to give a presentation on their work to their peers, CS faculties and guests. An online proceeding of accepted abstracts will be maintained in the permanent conference website.

The program and modality of presentation (oral/poster) will be announced later, once all submissions have been reviewed.
