My name is Alexa Caturay. I want to change the fortunes of those living with Multiple Sclerosis. I have been fundraising for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada and their annual Walk for MS for the last seven years. In this, my charmed seventh year of participation in the MS Walk, I am encouraged by recent advances in research and motivated by the support of those who have helped me raise over $40,000 since 2003. Since this year should be particularly fortuitous, I am committed, with my team, KYAMS to raising $10,000 for the MS Society of Canada by April 18th. Seventy-five thousand Canadians have Multiple Sclerosis. While treatments exist, there is no cure. The MS Society funds research and supports to those living with MS.
