Date: Weekly, March 11 - April 15, 2009 Time: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Location: Lambton Tower, Room 2103 Facilitators: Erika Kustra and Michael K. Potter, Centre for Teaching and Learning The Centre for Teaching and Learning invites instructors and graduate students to attend a six-week mini-course which will introduce participants to methods of discussion-based teaching. Participants will learn facilitation skills, conflict prevention and resolution, atmosphere creation, feedback, group dynamics, and the use of rubrics to evaluate discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to use discussion-based methods to teach a lesson to the rest of the class. To register, please email ctlworkshops(atsign )uwindsor.ca.
