Thu, Mar 12
World Water Day is an international day of observance and action to draw attention to the struggle of the more than 1 billion people world wide lacking access to clean, safe drinking water.
With each passing year World Water Day has grown larger and stronger. Let’s make a conscious effort, beyond World Water Day, to make wise choices to protect and restore water quality and quantity for generations to come. Such as; conserve water, be an avid recycler, dispose of hazardous waste properly, use non-toxic products for cleaning, clean up pet waste, prevent pollutants from entering into runoff, take care when refuelling gas tanks, take your car to commercial car washes, and stay informed and get involved in your local source protection process.
