Picnic to preserve naturalized area By:

The Naturalized Area at the University of Windsor is under threat. We show the University that we care about this area, and want to preserve it.
At college ave. and huron church, the berm on the side of the University stadium is designated as a "Naturalized Area". This does not require the use of any extensive maintenance or the application of chemicals. However, the University wants to change this. The Student Environmental Coalition believes that it is in the interest of Windsor's environment and health to keep the area Naturalized.
So we picnic on a beautiful day for a great cause to send a message to the University about preserving the Naturalized Area. It's under threat of conversion from its present NATURAL form to a more maintained, "landscaped" version.
